2006 Team Universe

What a weekend!! Busy, but loads of fun! I had the chance to catch up with fellow competitors and friends. Thanks to all who stopped by the Champion booth and said hello. Congratulations to all who competed in this years Team Universe especially my good friends Karen, Malea, Jennifer, Stephanie, Kristina and Norrence. Everybody looked fantastic! Stephanie, you were a threat to me every year we competed together. I knew your time would come. I know that this years Team USA will make us proud in Barcelona. Go get em girls!!! Enjoy every moment of that trip, it is a wonderful experience!! Another big thank you to Doug for his patience during my shopping excursions and "diet crankiness" while out in the Big Apple.
I had a blast! Just recovering this week, focusing on my training and off to Pittsburgh for the Masters Nationals.
One last note......I made the mistake of checking a forum/chat site after the Team U (site name withheld). I refuse to post on those and waste my time. However, coming from probably the most tested NPC female bodybuilder in years.....yes, they do test at the Team U. In the past, polygraphs were given and personally I find those totally uncomfortable and can't see how anybody thinks they could get past that...I did because I wasn't lying. In fact, seven times total in my bodybuilding career I was polygraphed. Then the top 2 in each class would be urine tested for steroids and diuretics (three times total in my bb career). This year, they did not do the polygraphs, but tested the top three class winners. The NPC will not send anybody to the IFBB World Championships if these test come back tainted. In fact, ephedra and certain fat burners must be eliminated when competing at the Worlds as well. So just a few thoughts and clarification for those doubters that might stumble across my site. Until next time, love and big hugs to all!!!

Jr. Nationals

Hello and sorry for the late updates. Things have been very busy for me....working, training...training and working. I'll be making my pro debut at the Europa in Texas and then four weeks later in Atlantic City. I'm really looking forward to this summer. Besides training to compete, I'll be doing a lot of traveling while representing Champion Nutrition. I had the opportunity to work Jr. Nationals. Congratulations to Tracy Mason, the overall winner! As always, I met some amazing people and had the chance to catch up with old friends. Best of luck to Karen Geninatti and melea Jensen at the Team Universe. Both looked amazing in Chicago and I just know they are going to do well!! As luck would have it, I'll be in NY too. Hopefully I'll have the chance to pass my crown onto the overall champ and newest IFBB pro. After NY, my travels take me to Pittsburgh for the Master's Nationals. I really love the Station Square area and Gary Udit does a wonderful job with that show. A big good luck wish to my trainer Jim Hemminger. After those busy two weekends, my 20th year high school reunion....(yes, 20th) falls in July as well. I think I've changed my physique since the 10 year, this should be interesting. To make everything even better, my traveling companion, Doug is the wonderful new man in my life. Enjoy the pictures from Jr. Nationals. Happy 4th of July!!
XOXO
